Monarch’s Mutts Dog Rescue is a dedicated local charity committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs in need. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help improve our facilities, support our charity shop, and ultimately make a positive difference to the lives of rescue dogs.
Whether you enjoy practical DIY tasks, gardening, retail, IT, social media, or simply spending time around dogs, we’d love to hear from you.
Volunteer Duties May Include:
At Our Emergency Mutthutt Facility (B65 0AQ)
- Floor and wall tiling
- Grouting
- Basic repairs and maintenance
- Applying waterproof treatment to brick walls
- Gardening and creating dog-friendly planters
- Painting fencing and picket fencing between dog areas
- Walking, socialising, and spending time with rescue dogs
At Our Charity Shop (B63 4AA, Halesowen)
- Assisting customers and supporting day-to-day shop operations
- Sorting, organising, and preparing donated stock
- Providing IT support, including CCTV setup and troubleshooting
- Supporting our social media activity through platforms such as X, Snapchat, and LinkedIn
What We’re Looking For
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Reliability and willingness to get involved
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- An interest in supporting animal welfare and local communities
- Practical DIY, gardening, IT, retail, or social media experience is welcome but not essential

Volunteer Availability
We can accommodate both individual volunteers and small groups.
- Minimum volunteers: 1–2 people
- Maximum volunteers: Up to 6 people at a time
