Hall Green Youth provides a safe and supportive space for young people, delivering youth group activities and one-to-one mentoring programmes. We currently run a youth group for young people aged 11-18, helping them build confidence, develop life skills, and access support when they need it.
We are looking for volunteer Mentors to support young people through our one-to-one mentoring programme. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive difference in a young person’s life by providing encouragement, guidance, and a listening ear.
As a Mentor, you will help young people identify and work towards personal goals while offering low-level support around the challenges they may be facing.
Volunteer Duties May Include:
- Meeting with a young person on a one-to-one basis
- Supporting young people to identify and work towards personal goals
- Providing encouragement, motivation, and guidance
- Listening to and supporting young people with challenges they may be experiencing
- Helping to build confidence, resilience, and self-esteem
- Working alongside staff to ensure young people receive appropriate support

- An interest in youth work, mentoring, or community support
No previous mentoring experience is required, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.
