Smart Women CIC is a community organisation that brings women together to build healthier, stronger communities through shared experiences, support networks, and health-focused initiatives. The organisation believes that when women are empowered, families and communities can flourish.
We are looking for compassionate and enthusiastic volunteers to support a range of community services for women. This includes activities focused on mental wellbeing, physical health, social connection, and practical support.
This is a flexible volunteering opportunity where you can get involved in different areas depending on your interests, skills, and availability.
Volunteer Opportunities May Include:
- Supporting community events, trips, and activities for women
- Helping run coffee mornings and social groups
- Providing a welcoming and supportive presence at community sessions
- Assisting with wellbeing-focused activities and workshops
- Supporting women accessing services related to mental health and domestic abuse
- Helping with the organisation and delivery of community projects
- Providing general practical support to staff and service users
What We’re Looking For
- A friendly, supportive, and non-judgemental attitude
- Good communication and listening skills
- A willingness to support women from diverse backgrounds
- Reliability and a positive approach to community work
- An interest in improving wellbeing and strengthening communities
Some roles may require additional training depending on the level of support involved, particularly where sensitive issues such as domestic abuse are concerned. Full guidance and support will be provided.
