Birmingham Says No is a knife crime prevention charity and one of LoveBrum’s Hidden Heroes. Through education, awareness, and community engagement, they work to reduce knife crime and create safer communities across Birmingham.

They are looking for a volunteer with website skills to help maintain, update, and improve their website. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your digital expertise to support an important local charity and help them communicate their message more effectively.

Volunteer Duties May Include:

• Updating website content, including text, images, and news articles
• Making routine website maintenance updates
• Identifying and resolving minor website issues
• Ensuring website information remains accurate and up to date
• Supporting improvements to website functionality and user experience
• Working with the charity team to implement website changes and updates
• Helping to ensure the website effectively promotes the charity’s work and impact

What We’re Looking For

• Experience using website content management systems (such as WordPress or similar platforms)
• Good IT and digital skills
• An eye for detail and accuracy
• The ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively
• Good communication skills
• Reliability and a willingness to support the charity’s mission
• An interest in helping make Birmingham’s communities safer
