Meet The Team: Hannah Floyd

By Holly Moulton

LoveBrum would not be able to operate without its incredible board of dedicated trustees. Each of them plays a vital role in helping spread understanding and awareness of our charity, and also supporting HQ with their various expertise.

Hannah Floyd is Director at Pi SQ and a true advocate of all things Brum! Previously a LoveBrum Ambassador, Hannah now sits on our board as Diversity & Inclusion Trustee.

Find out below why Hannah loves Brum…

What’s your background and where are you based?

I have worked in Birmingham now for 14 years mainly in commercial property or fit-out, having set up a  furniture consultancy business last year I am now based on the lovely Colmore Row when not working from home.

What does your trustee role entail?

I am joining the lovely board of trustees as the diversity & inclusion trustee, this is the first role of its kind in the charity and I am so excited that we will be learning on this journey together at a time where being ruthlessly inclusive should be at the forefront of everyone’s minds. I will be ensuring that our approach is just as diverse and inclusive as the wonderful city we are in.

Why do you love Brum?

The people, the community, the drive to be better…all of it! We are also finally learning to be able to tell outsiders how amazing we are and how far we have come and I love that too!

What projects are you passionate about?

I am particularly passionate about any homelessness or preventative homelessness projects because I volunteer heavily in that sector and see the amazing work that communities are doing to help people in need, with zero judgment. But, I can honestly say that LoveBrum has highlighted so many amazing projects that we would have never heard of without that platform such as Arrive Alive, Healing Horse Sanctuary (and any of the animal causes too of course) to just name a few.
