Cause Spotlight over Breakfast

LoveBrum presents a series of impactful events that showcase Birmingham’s finest hidden gem and heritage venues, while raising awareness for charities and causes across the city.

With a focus on themes such as Mental Health, Crime, Social Justice, and Poverty, our goal is to shed light on critical issues affecting our city and nurture meaningful dialogues for change.

We are delighted to announce an event taking place at Thinktank, Birmingham’s award-winning science museum part of the Birmingham Museums Trust portfolio of venues.

Taking pride of place in the city’s innovative Millennium Point, there are four floors of fun to explore, bursting with more than 200 hands-on high-tech displays alongside historical collections and natural science specimens to amaze and inspire. Each of the exhibitions has been specially selected to showcase the world around us, from steam engines and talking robots through to gurgling guts and even a chocolate wrapping machine!

We’ll also hear from Standing Tall, a previously funded project of LoveBrum’s, who will provide insights into their work with helping people move off the streets for good, and how they are directly impacting our community.

Tickets are £15 and include:

• Tea, coffee, juice and a delicious breakfast bap from the kitchen team at Thinktank
• A chance to explore the facilities at a hidden gem location
• A talk from Standing Tall
• Meet and connect with fellow Brummie change-makers
• A donation directly to LoveBrum
