Breaking of-fish-al records at Resorts World

By Ashleigh Mills

Earlier this month, LoveBrum had the pleasure of spectating our patrons at Resorts World officially hit the Guinness World Record™ for the largest serving of fish and chips.  Their talented team of chefs cooked up an absolute feast, preparing one giant 27.83kg halibut, served on a supersized seabed of chips, totalling in at a record-breaking 54.77kg!

Our charity patrons are passionate about giving back to local causes supporting our city.  By means of a thank you, for the excellent work LoveBrum projects are doing for Birmingham, Resorts World exclusively invited LoveBrum projects to join them for Friday night chippy tea, and be the first to try the record-breaking dish!

Guests included staff and service users from Balsall Heath CATS, Central Rescue UK, Midland Freewheelers, The Stonehouse Gang, Birmingham Centre for Arts Therapies and Push on Wellbeing (POW).  The evening was enjoyed by all and it was great to get together – a perfect end to the week.  Thank you!
