Nominations Open for Third Birmingham Awards!

Nominations for this year’s upcoming Birmingham Awards have been coming in thick and fast. If you
or someone you know deserves one of these coveted awards, then be sure to get your nomination
in before the 18th August!

The Birmingham Awards is now in its third year and having gone from strength to strength, things
are all set to be even bigger and better than before. The Birmingham Awards aims to recognise and
reward all the very best individuals, achievements, businesses and contributions from the nation’s
second city, Birmingham. We will shine a light on all those who make this vibrant, colourful, unique
city what it is. The awards will be judged by a panel of five independent judges from around
Birmingham with a voting segment during the shortlist stage.

The Birmingham Awards are a unique opportunity to highlight and recognise the ongoing
contributions of its citizens.

Opportunity, inspiration and endless prospects – the future of Britain’s second city has never looked
so optimistic. It’s now time to recognise the unsung heroes that make the city the gem that it is.

The city is continuing to evolve – an experience worth embracing. The Birmingham Awards perfectly
encapsulates the heart of this city and those remarkable people who make it so great.

In order to reflect the ongoing achievements of Birmingham, some new categories have been added
to the roster which includes: Best use of Social Media/Marketing Campaign, Best Apprenticeship
Employer Award, and the highly illustrious Professional of the Year.

Spanning 22 categories that cover everything from catering to art to education and more, there is an
award for almost everything, but the only way to win one is to get nominated! Send in your
nomination by visiting www.birminghamawards.co.uk now!

We have also teamed up with LoveBrum again this year as the official charity partner. As well as
recognising the achievements of Birmingham, the Birmingham Awards will be raising money for
LoveBrum, a charity which invests in grassroots projects across the city.
The awards are taking place Saturday 7th October 2017 at the Edgbaston Cricket Stadium.

We hope to see you there!
